Emporia State’s theater department has made a pair of schedule adjustments, including a first for the department.
Emporia State Theatre has postponed its spring production of the Euripedes classic Greek tragedy “Medea,” pushing that to the fall.
The summer theatre season, meanwhile, has been canceled. Students in ESU’s first summer school session will take classes remotely, so the decision was made to cancel the season. It’s the first time the summer season has been canceled since Karl Bruder started it in 1955.
Despite the schedule changes, ESU theater professor Jim Bartruff will join KVOE’s Talk of Emporia at 11:06 am Monday.
