Lyon County Public Health is confirming six new positive COVID-19 tests Monday.
This brings the county’s total of confirmed positive tests to 83 with 21 probable positives for a total of 104 cases in the county. 31 recoveries have been reported meaning the total number of active cases is currently at 73.
Lyon County reported its first COVID-19 related death Sunday with no deaths reported since.
Coffey County is reporting two new positive tests Monday, bringing the county’s total to 47. 22 recoveries have been reported leaving 25 active cases at this time. Six deaths have been reported.
Chase, Greenwood, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties have a combined total of 11 positive tests with no fatalities after Wabaunsee reported its second positive test Monday. In total, Kansas now has 1,986 confirmed positive tests with 100 deaths reported.
