A month ago, the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve closed its facilities as one of the area’s early set of precautions against coronavirus. Another adjustment has been announced.
The preserve is postponing all bus tours until June 30. Park officials evaluated areas of potential risk and ultimately decided to hold off on having additional tours.
The preserve has set up several virtual tours as well as an audio podcast tour on its website, www.nps.gov/tapr.
