Lyon County Public Health is reporting 23 new positive COVID-19 tests in Thursdays report.
Since Tuesday there have been 75 new positive tests in Lyon County.
There have been 158 total positive tests reported since testing began. There are now 143 active cases in Lyon County.
The Wabaunsee County health department is reporting they are working on 5 positive cases and have 1 recovery for 6 total cases.
They said several of the cases are related to a cluster from Alma foods.
Operations at the Alma plant were shut down on April 17th, and will be going through decontamination processes.
The Wabaunsee Health Department said operations are expected to resume on May 4th. When the facility resumes production, additional safety protocols for team members will be put into place.
Osage County is reporting 1 active case with 4 recoveries.
Morris County is reporting 3 cases with 2 recoveries.
Greenwood County is reporting 3 cases.
Chase County is reporting 1 case.
Coffey County will have an updated report Friday.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment is reporting its largest daily increase, 262 new cases, for 2482 positive cases.
There are two new deaths reported for 112 deaths.
Wyandotte county continues to report the most cases in Kansas 484. Johnson County is reporting 403 cases. Sedgwick county is reporting 314 cases and Ford county is reporting 288 cases.
35 counties have reported no positive cases.
