Storm activity is expected for much of Friday.
Thunderstorms are possible into the late-night hours. Half the listening area has a marginal risk of severe weather, according to the Storm Prediction Center. Hail and high winds are the main concerns along and east of the Kansas Turnpike.
The National Weather Service says locally heavy rainfall is also possible, with an inch of rain or more if there are heavier storms or if storms train behind previous clusters.
