Greenwood County Hospital has announced new visiting hours for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The hospital is allowing visitors from 8 am to 5 pm weekdays and 11 am to 5 pm weekends. Visitors must pass a screening test and wear a mask through the entire visit. Only one visitor will be allowed during the patient’s hospital stay unless patients are under age 18, in which case both parents will be allowed.
The hospital says family members can see patients if the patients are in critical condition or if they are being transferred to another facility.
Greenwood County Hospital was not allowing visitors except for minors receiving care for the bulk of the pandemic.
