Coronavirus has those who have been quarantined longing for activities, and that’s no different for the residents of Holiday Resort.
So to help celebrate Nursing Home Week, and help the residents, Holiday Resort will be holding a drive-by parade Wednesday afternoon.
This parade will start at Timmerman Elementary and go through the circle drive outside Holiday Resort.
Jamie Hensley of Holiday Resort spoke with KVOE about how they hope the parade can benefit residents.
Hensley went on to say the residents will be moved outside so they have a good view of the circle drive, and she encourages those who are participating to make signs and show support.
To partake in the parade please meet outside Timmerman Elementary at 1:30 pm. The parade is slated to begin at 2 pm.
