A Strong City teenager drove into a creekbed near Emporia late Sunday night and received minor injuries as a result.
Lyon County Deputy Nathan Rankin says 17-year-old Owen Eidman was westbound on US Highway 50 when the crash was reported shortly before midnight. Eidman’s pickup veered across the highway in the 500 block before going into a creek.
Eidman was able to leave the truck and call for help. He was treated at the scene and released. The wreck is still under investigation.
