Flood warnings have ended for the KVOE listening area.
Warnings for the Neosho River were all canceled early from Americus to Emporia to Neosho Rapids. All three gauges were supposed to be in warnings until Sunday, but the Americus warning was pulled Friday and the warnings at the Emporia and Neosho Rapids gauges were lifted Saturday.
Numerous roads in Lyon County remain closed, either for floodwaters or upcoming repairs.

Other significant flooding was reported in the Dunlap area, with the town being inundated since severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall Thursday night. The Morris County Sheriff’s Office will update the situation Sunday morning.
Elsewhere, Melvern Lake has increased its discharge rate from 20 cubic feet per second to 1,000. Recent rains pushed the lake to 3.5 feet above normal. No other area lake or reservoir has an elevated discharge rate at this time.
