4 Rivers Electric Cooperative has announced a planned power outage for some of its coverage area.
Power will ou out between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm Wednesday at the Melvern Metering Point for system upgrades — namely, new transmission lines. This will affect co-op members north of BETO Junction along US Highway 75.
Planned outages will also affect the Agricola area in northeast Coffey County and parts of Franklin County.
