There is a special meeting coming Wednesday for the Emporia Recreation Commission.
Board members will meet at 5:30 pm via Zoom. The only order of business is whether to approve the Jones Aquatic Center management agreement between the Rec Commission and the city of Emporia for the 2020 season. This follows a special action meeting by Emporia city commissioners on the same topic around 11:30 am.
The meeting will also be available for public viewing on the Rec Commission’s Facebook page.
