A Neosho Rapids woman was taken to a Pittsburg hospital for treatment after a wreck in southeast Kansas on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Marlana Driskill was a passenger in a car driven by 50-year-old Jeff Jones of Fort Scott when the crash happened around 6:30 pm in Arma. Jones was southbound on US Highway 69 and was hit by an eastbound pickup driven by 36-year-old Edwin Ahumada-Alvarado of Omaha, Nebraska.
The Highway Patrol crash log says Ahumada-Alvarado was turning onto the highway and failed to yield.
Both Driskill and Jones were taken to Via Christi in Pittsburg for suspected minor injuries. Ahumada-Alvarado and a passenger were not hurt.
