The Kansas Department of Labor says it has launched an outbound call system to help residents working to complete information needed through the federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program.
Residents can go online to request a return call for help with potential errors, claim status and other questions.
The Labor Department also says the federal Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation program is now active. The program offers an extension of benefits for up to 13 weeks if state jobless benefits are exhausted.
