A new first court appearance date has been announced for Tyler Bosiljevac.
The former Emporia High teacher was originally set to start court proceedings Monday after formal charges last week on illegal sexual activity with teenagers. That first appearance is now on the Lyon County docket for July 7.
Bosiljevac faces eight total counts against six alleged victims. There are three counts of indecent liberties, two counts of attempted sexual exploitation, two counts of attempted unlawful sexual relations and one count of sexual battery. The ages of the alleged victims range from 14 to 17, and the overall alleged timeframe is from July 2016 to this past February.
Bosiljevac was a teacher 14 years with USD 253 before he was fired in February.
