Training camps may be coming soon for NFL teams, but they won’t happen at the traditional sites for some teams — including the Kansas City Chiefs.
The NFL has told all 32 teams they must train at their home facilities. This means no trip to St. Joseph, Missouri, for the Chiefs this year. It also means no joint team practices, a training method that has become increasingly used over the last decade.
This follows the NFL’s decision to cancel all in-person workouts leading up to training camps. The league continues work with the Players Association on protocols that will allow a safe return for players, coaches and team personnel when training camps open next month.
