Lyon County is using a new customer service method for residents looking to renew vehicle tags, handle title renewals or transfer vehicle plates.
The QLess system serves as a virtual line so residents don’t have to wait around the Lyon County Motor Vehicle Office. Here’s Treasurer Sharon Gaede:
Residents can “que up” using one of four options: going online to the QLess kiosk, texting “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998, downloading the QLess app for any computer or device or by going online to www.lyoncounty.org and then clicking on the Treasurer’s page.
Residents needing to get their personal vehicles handled can use QLess from 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays. Residents needing help with commercial vehicles can use QLess from 8 am to 3 pm.
