Osage County residents are being asked to revisit a cold case dating back to the early 1990s — and they are also being asked to call law enforcement with any information they may have about the case.
Troy Koepke was killed outside of a Topeka bank on March 21, 1993. He had left work at a restaurant and was apparently planning to deposit the nightly receipts but was shot dead.
Topeka Police have long suspected that one or several people with connections to Osage County have information about the case, which is back in the spotlight after an anonymous tipster gave some information recently.
Shawnee County Crime Stoppers is asking both the tipster and others with anonymous information to call 785-234-0007 or reach out through the secure website, www.p3tips.com.
