Newman Regional Health continues to emphasize the safety of staff and visitors alike as their main focus as the hospital continues its efforts to fully reopen its facilities.
A news release from the hospital Tuesday states that Newman is continuing to provide all staff and visitors with “everything needed to stay safe” during visits to the hospital. The release also implores residents not to put off seeking medical care as precautions in place since mid-March continue at the facility to protect anyone and everyone inside.
Newman Regional Health Clinic Administrator Lynn Doeden says when it comes to new precautions and strategies in response to COVID-19, the hospital has gone out of its way to ensure every one is as safe as possible.
Doeden adds they are asking patients to come alone to appointments if possible. If it is not possible, and the appointment is not urgent, Newman is asking patients to reschedule their appointment for the patient and staff’s protection. If you have questions or would like more information on appointments, restrictions or the hospital’s reopening plan visit NewmanRH.org or call 620-343-6800.
