The Emporia Lady Spartan 18 year old softball team played in a tournament in Wichita. They finished the weekend with a 4-4 record.
They opened with a 6-2 loss to Manhattan Optimist.
They defeated the Wichita Sluggers King 7-6.
Wichita Sluggers Lindsey 4-2.
3N2 Force 17-4.
They were defeated by Kansas Knockouts 3-5
and by the Reckoning 5-8.
The 18’s defeated the Manhattan Optimist 3-1.
Lost to Prodigy Easton Elite 6-0.
Coach Troy Chapman said it was good to back playing softball.
