Thankfully, nobody was hurt after fire destroyed one building and damaged another at a north Lyon County ranching operation early Monday evening.
Firefighters were called to Keith Cattle Company, 1056 Road 350, shortly after 5 pm. Jesse Floyd of the Allen-Admire Fire Department says a building that housed equipment and hay was a total loss, while a nearby metal building had siding damage.
Firefighters from Allen-Admire, Miller, Reading and Dunlap were on the scene until almost 10 pm.
A cause has not been determined.
Keith Cattle Company owners Brian and Lisa Keith thanked friends, neighbors and firefighters for their prompt response.
