Newman Regional Health is relaxing some patient visitation rules this week.
The hospital is now allowing two visitors during scheduled visiting hours for inpatients. Visitors must be at least 18 years of age and will have to wear a face mask at all times during their stay. All visitors will be screened as they enter the hospital and will get a visitor pass.
For outpatient appointments and office visits, the current policy of no visitors remains unchanged. There are exceptions, including caregivers for patients with demonstrated needs like minors or people with cognitive or physical limitations.
More information about the hospital’s visit policy is online at www.newmanrh.org/coronavirusreopening.
