Three Emporia Golfers are playing in the Kansas Junior Amateur Golf Championship in Salina.
After the 1st round, played Tuesday, Gentry Scheve was in a 5 way tie for 3rd place at 2 under par. He finished the first round with a 68 and is 1 stroke back of the leaders.
Caleb Schmid is tied for 29th place at 2 over par with a 72. Brooks Sauder shot an 85 and is at plus 15.
The second round will be played Wednesday.
