Emporia State mens basketball Coach Craig Doty announced the signing of 2 more players Thursday. Ben Smith a 6-6 forward and Deundra Roberson a 6-0 guard.
Ben Smith transfers from Western Texas Community College where he averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds. He is a native of Edmond, Oklahoma where he was a top 10 prospect in Oklahoma. He will have 3 years of eligibility.
Deundra Roberson transfers from North Iowa Community College where he averaged 20.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.4 steals.
They join Anthony Masinton-Bonner, Austin Downing, Kong Kong, Tate Oglesby, and Nick Reid in the Emporia State recruiting class.
Coach Doty will also be returning 8 players that played from last years team:
Duncan Fort, Dallas Bailey, Gage McGuire, Jumah’ri Turner, Tyreek Robinson, Brenden Van Dyke, Mason Thiessen and Devin Rottweiler.
