The Emporia Seniors were 1-1 at the McPherson tournament Saturday.
In their first game they were out scored by Buhler 4-3. Buhler scored all 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th.
The 19s bounced back with a 2-1 win over Fort Scott. Hayden Baumwart scored the winning run on an error in the bottom of the 7th. Skyler Beatty was the winning pitcher going the distance giving up 1 run on 7 hits with 9 strikeouts.
The 19s will play Fort Scott again Sunday afternoon at 3pm.
