The Emporia Senior baseball team swept a doubleheader from Garnett Thursday night. They won both games 7-0.
In the first game Beau Baumgardner, John Miller, and Skyler Douglas each drove in 2 runs. Jace Stewart was 2 for 2 and scored 2 runs.
Riley Wagner and Cade Kohlmeier combined on a 5 hit shutout.
In the 2nd game Hayden Baumwart drove in 2 runs to lead the offense.
Skyler Douglas and Skyler Beatty combined to toss a 2 hit shutout.
The 19s are now 11-5 for the season and are off until July 3rd when they play in a tournament at Fort Scott.
