Thunderstorm activity is possible Friday night and Saturday, and some storms could be strong to severe.
Thunderstorms could bring hail, high wind and heavy rain Friday night into early Saturday and again Saturday afternoon. Currently, there is a slight-to-marginal severe weather risk for the area for Friday night and early Saturday, with residents north of a Bazaar-to-Emporia-to-Ottawa line in th slight risk and residents south of that line in a marginal risk. Almost the entire KVOE listening area — the exception being central Greenwood County — is in a marginal risk Saturday afternoon.
We’ll keep you updated on the severe weather risk this weekend on KVOE, KVOE.com and KVOE social media.
