5 Emporia golfers played in the Kansas Junior Golf Association Tour tournament at Lake Shawnee Monday.
Gentry Scheve finished in a tie for 2nd place with an even par 70.
Brooks Sauder finished in 9th place with a 76.
Caleb Schmid finished in a tie for 14th place with a 78.
Caden Massey tied for 25th place with an 89.
Hudson Sauder in the 12-13 age group finished in a tie for first place with an 82.
All 5 are entered to play in a 2 day tournament at Crestview in Wichita beginning Tuesday.
Next week the K-J-G-A Tour Championship will be played in Dodge City.
Gentry Scheve, Caleb Schmid, Brooks Sauder and Hudson Sauder have already earned a spot in the tournament.
