The Kansas City Royals organization on Sunday underwent its second round of COVID-19 testing to ensure MLB health and safety protocols are being met.
Saturday it was announced that Salvador Perez has tested positive for coronavirus.
Manager Mike Matheney also said he had contracted coronavirus during the shut down and has fully recovered.
The Royals are focused being ready for the start of the season July 23rd or 24th.
