One person was taken to Newman Regional Health following a two-vehicle accident in east Emporia Friday afternoon.
At 2:45 pm emergency crews were called to the Dillons parking lot at 902 East 12th Ave. for an injury accident. According to the Emporia Fire Department, two vehicles were involved with one suffering damage to its front end and the other suffering damage to the passenger side door.
One person was taken to Newman for observation following the accident while another individual refused a trip to the hospital. Further details including a full crash narrative are currently pending.
