The Emporia Seniors out scored the Kansas Senators 10-1 on day two of the Sam Ellis Classic Saturday.
The 19s scored 6 runs in the 5th inning to put the game out of reach.
Skyler Beatty was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Skyler Douglas was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Ethan Garate was the winning pitcher giving up 1 run on 5 hits with 6 strikeouts.
The Emporia 19s will play Gladstone Sunday at 12:30 in bracket play with the winner advancing to the Championship game at 3pm.
The other semi-final has the Topeka Scrappers playing The Kansas Senators at 10am.
All games will be played at Sodens Grove.
