An Emporia teenager will spend time at a juvenile correctional facility after pleading no contest to a count of burglary.
On Thursday, Judge Lee Fowler sentenced 18-year-old Adam Cole Burnett to 18 months.
Burnett was originally charged with burglary of a dwelling and reckless criminal discharge of a firearm after four Emporia dwellings were shot into in early December. A count of felony criminal damage was added later, but those charges were all dropped as part of a plea agreement reached last month.
