The Lyon County Highway Department is announcing a road opening and upcoming partial closing.
Road Y from Highway 179 to Road 220 has now fully reopened after the removal of a final jump bridge. The bridges were being utilized by RES Americas for work purposes in the area.
Additionally, the department is announcing the Prairie Street Overpass will be down to one lane for cleaning on Jul. 22. The partial closure will be in effect from approximately 7 am to 3 pm that day.
