The Emporia Public Library is extending its services once again this week.
Beginning Monday, the library will be offering limited computer access by appointment only. Individual access to computers will be available for 30 minute time periods Monday through Friday.
Individuals wishing to utilize the computers must schedule an appointment in one of four different time slots, 9:15, 10:15, 11:15 or 12:15. Library Director Robin Newell explains the hour-long time slot will allow time for sufficient cleaning and sanitation in between uses.
Color and black and white printing will be available, however, visitors will not be permitted to use restrooms or drinking fountains and copy and fax services will not be available. Masks usage and social distancing will be enforced at all times inside the library and individuals are asked to come alone to limit the number of people inside the library.
Once an individual’s scheduled time has elapsed they will be asked to immediately leave the facility. Visitors will not be permitted to browse through the collections or stacks during their time inside the library.
If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call the library at 620-340-6464.
