A new inspector is getting settled in at Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Station.
Christopher Henderson has been selected as Wolf Creek’s new senior resident inspector. Henderson joined the NRC in 2010 as a reactor operations engineer. He also served as senior resident inspector at Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville and the resident inspector at Cooper Nuclear Station in Brownsville, Nebraska. Henderson served as a nuclear-trained submarine warfare officer and holds degrees in nuclear engineering from Kansas State University.
Henderson johns John Vera as inspectors at Wolf Creek. Each commercial nuclear power plant in the United States has at least two NRC resident inspectors.
