Sporting Kansas City has advanced to the knockout round of the MLS is Back tournament after a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake Wednesday morning.
Sporting scored in the 1st minute of play and added the 2nd goal in the 85th minute of play.
Sporting is now 4-1 for the season.
