6 new COVID-19 cases and 6 recoveries are being reported by Lyon County Public Health in Fridays update.
That increases the number of confirmed positive and probable positive cases to 600. There are also 526 recoveries. The number of active cases remains at 65.
Several area counties are also reporting new cases.
Coffey County is reporting 2 new cases and 1 recovery. There are 4 active cases in Coffey County.
Wabaunsee County is reporting 1 new positive case. That is the 39th coronavirus case in Wabaunsee county.
Morris County is reporting 1 new case for a total of 6 cases with 5 recovered.

Greenwood County has 5 active cases.
Osage County has 1 active case.
From Mondays update:
Chase County has 1 active case.
1,005 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Kansas since Wednesday by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. That increases the total number of confirmed positive and probable positive cases to 25,109. Since last Friday there have been 3,144 new cases.
The number of deaths has increased by 18, the count is now 326.
Johnson County is reporting the highest number of positive cases with 4381 cases. Lyon county is now 10th on that list. Douglas County is now 9th on the list with 597 cases according to KDHE.
Lyon County is 6th on the list for number of cases per 1000 residents at 17.7. Ford County is number 1 with over 61 cases per 1000 residents.
Two counties Wallace and Rawlins are reporting no positive cases.
