Scattered thunderstorms saturated the KVOE listening area with rainfall through the early morning hours Monday.
Current rainfall totals include:
*KVOE Studios – 1.8 inches
*Cottonwood Falls – 3.5 inches
*Strong City – 2.12 inches
*Kahola Lake – 2 inches
A flood warning remains in place for Chase County until 1 pm Monday. Chances of additional rainfall continue through the majority of the week with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday evening.
Tuesday will see a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, Wednesday has a 70 percent chance of more precipitation. Chances begin to dwindle Thursday and Friday heading into the weekend.
