The Kansas State High School Activities Associations Executive Board will be holding a meeting this afternoon beginning at 4pm to discuss fall activities.
Last week the executive board tabled a decision about fall sports to gather information from the superintendents of the states school districts about their plans for re-opening school this fall.
The Topeka Capital Journal in a story says the National Federation of State High School Associations is recommending to the state associations that if it is safe to proceed with fall sports they should.
So far 24 states have altered their fall sports schedules including, Texas, California and Florida.
6 states have canceled football including, New Mexico, California, and Nevada.
27 states have not modified their fall schedules including,
Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado.
