Two first time champions were crowned in the Emporia mens and womens City Golf Championships that wrapped up Sunday.
William Tsao won the mens championship finishing the 2 day tournament with an 11 over par 154.
Kody Thexton finished in 2nd place 1 stroke back with a 12 over 155. Nathan Linsey and Brooks Sauder tied for 3rd place.
Brooks Sauder was also the low junior.
Austin Knight won the A Flight. Caden Massey won the B Flight. Gary Nicolet won the C Flight after tie breaker with Dee Elliott.
Fugi Ortiz was the low senior.
Avary Eckert won the womens championship. The 15 year-old, sophomore to be, finished the 2 days with a 173.
Bobbi Sauder finished in 2nd place with a 179. Robin Skeens finished in 3rd place witrh a 183.
