Emporia City Commissioners will consider lending formal approval to a slew of COVID-19 preventive projects during an action meeting Wednesday.
Commissioners tentatively approved the project list during their action session last Wednesday. All of the listed projects are eligible for CARES/SPARK funding through Lyon County.
An ordinance and application for the vacation of a portion of County Road K as part of the Emporia Municipal Airport runway expansion will also see consideration. A permanent drainage easement, an ordinance and application for a final planned unit development at 2910 W. Highway 50, a rezoning request and an incentive compliance agreement between the city and S&S Quality Meats will also see consideration for approval.
The meeting begins inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium at 1:30 pm.
