The Kansas City Royals were shutout by the Chicago Cubs 2-0 Monday night.
The Royals out hit the Cubs 5-4 and stranded 7 base runners and were 1-7 with runners in scoring position. Royals Manager Mike Matheney says the offense is stuck.
The Royals and Cubs play again Tuesday night in Chicago as the Royals try to end a 4 game losing skid. Brady Singer, on his 24th birthday, makes the Start for the Royals with first pitch at 7:15p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM, with coverage beginning at 6:30p.
