Lyon County commissioners have amended their agenda for Thursday’s action meeting.
Discussion about a possible striping project along Americus Road remains on the agenda. However, the quarterly report from Lyon County Public Health is no longer scheduled. Reasons for that adjustment have not been announced.
In place of the quarterly report, commissioners will discuss the county’s $250,000 appropriation for scholarships at Emporia State University.
Th meeting will start at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
9 am Wednesday: COVID-19 response, Americus Road striping project on Lyon County Commission agenda
Lyon County commissioners have two major talking points for their action session Thursday.
Commissioners will get the quarterly report from Lyon County Public Health administrators. Likely included in that report will be an update on the county’s COVID-19 trends and response effort.
Commissioners will also discuss a potential striping project for Americus Road. Three executive sessions are currently planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
