Lyon County Public Health is increasing the county’s death count due to COVID-19.
Public Health says the recent death of a White woman in her 80s was confirmed as COVID-related on Wednesday.
This means 14 county residents have died from the virus. It’s the first county death due to coronavirus in a week.
On Thursday, Public Health announced eight new cases and four recoveries, increasing the active case count from 75 to 79.
