It was a quiet weekend for announcements on coronavirus caseloads areawide.
Lyon County Public Health made no statements, meaning the county starts the week with 80 active cases and 697 total cases since March. Late last week, Public Health had said 14 people had died due to coronavirus, but now says 13 people have died. It has not said why that change was made.
There are currently six active clusters in Lyon County:
*There is one meatpacking cluster with 199 total cases, three active cases and four deaths.
*There are three private industry clusters with 146 total cases, six active cases and one death.
*There are two clusters in long-term care facilities with 99 total cases, 53 active cases and six deaths.
There were no changes elsewhere across the area through the weekend:
*Chase County has 37 active cases and 42 total. The Health Department has not updated the situation at the jail after 27 inmates and two staffers were announced as COVID-19 patients a week ago.
*Coffey County has three active cases, 67 total positives since March and eight deaths.
*Greenwood County is at three active cases and 22 total.
*Morris County has four active cases and 10 total.
*Osage County has six active cases and 42 total.
*Wabaunsee County has four active cases and 42 total.
Statewide, there are over 30,000 cases and 380 deaths.
