The Kansas City Royals outscored the Minnesota Twins 4-2 Sunday afternoon, completing a sweep of the Twins and extended their winning streak to 4 in a row.
Hunter Dozier in his first game drove in 2 runs with a single in the 1st inning.
Minnesota tied the game in the 3rd. Salvador Perez untied the game with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 3rd. Maikel Franco hit a solo home run in the 6th for insurance.
Brady Singer was the winning pitcher going 5 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits with 4 strikeouts. It’s his first win as a major leaguer.
The Royals are off Monday, they begin a 2 game series at Cincinnati Tuesday. The Royals are now 7 and 10 on the season.
