No carnival? A reduced slate of activities at the grandstand?
Yes, coronavirus caused a lot of rearrangements to the Lyon County Fair this year. However, Fair Board member Ken Duft is pleased with how things went — despite all the adjustments.
The fair was limited to 4-H activities. There were other changes as well, including the airing of several 4-H events on KVOE-TV@KVOE.com. The premium sale also utilized online bidding and social distancing was evident at each activity.
Duft thanked everybody associated with the fair. He also says Fair Board members will meet soon to discuss the fair and possible adjustments for next year.
