Five new COVID-19 cases and nine recoveries were reported by Lyon County Public Health in Thursday’s COVID-19 update.
The total number of active cases in Lyon County now stands at 68. The total number of positive and probable positive cases is now 731 with 648 total recoveries.
38 of the active cases are connected to long term care clusters. 5 cases are connected to private industry clusters. 2 cases are connected to a meatpacking cluster. 23 cases are not connected to a cluster.
5 of the cases are hospitalized.
The number of deaths remains at 14. Of the deaths 7 are connected to long term care clusters. 4 deaths are connected to meatpacking cluster. 1 death is connected to a private industry cluster. 2 deaths are not connected to a cluster.
Osage County is reporting no new cases and two recoveries leaving seven active cases in the county. Coffey County is reporting 1 active case. Greenwood County is also reporting 1 active case. Wabaunsee County is reporting 5 active cases. Morris County is reporting 3 active cases. Chase County is reporting 37 active cases.
