The Humane Society of the Flint Hills is now searching for a new executive director following a bittersweet announcement earlier this week.
The Humane Society announced via its Facebook Page Thursday that current director Caitlin Flood will be moving on to a new position in the Emporia area. While saddened by the news, the Humane Society wished Flood well in her future endeavors.
That being said, the Humane Society is now looking to hire a new executive director. Applicants should have experience with Microsoft Office, possess good communication and clerical skills and be able to work with a “wide variety of personalities. Candidates with experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, event planning, including fundraisers, and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.
