The Kansas City Royals split a doubleheader with the Minnesota Twins Saturday.
The Twins won the first game 4-2.
Maikel Franco hit a 2 run home run for the Royals two runs.
The Royals won the 2nd game 4-2. Whit Merrifield was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI. His big hit was a 3 run home run in the 4th inning.
Danny Duffy was the winning pitcher, it was his first win of the season.
