The first day of practices for Emporia High fall sports is in the books.
Emporia High Athletic Director Curtis Simons said it was a good first day.
The Emporia High football team had over 60 players on the field for the first practice. Coach Corby Milleson called it good first day.
Coach Milleson said the team did a good job of following COVID protocol.
Senior Co-Captain Charles Snyder said it was good to be practicing.
The Spartans are scheduled to kick-off their season September 4th at home against Topeka Hayden.
